And We're Off!

And so, at the request of... well, at least three of you, I created an "Ireland Blog." Not much to say at the moment. My flight leaves at 9:05 pm tonight and I've still got a fair bit of packing to do. (Granted, it's just a matter of putting things into the suitcases. I've been organizing and gathering things for weeks.) The brief health scare annoyance seems to have passed *crosses fingers* and I'm grateful it chose to happen before I got on the plane. So now it's just a matter of packing, making sure I've got all the appropriate travel documentation in a safe place, and getting on the flight to Heathrow! From there I take a train to Exeter, and spend a few days with John as well as finally meeting the wonderful Caroline (Luki) and Darren (Mari)! Don't expect much in the way of updates until Tuesday night post another plane/train combination when I make it to Galway, folks. ^_^

Oh, and then there's the matter of finding a watch. Mine seems to have decided to make an untimely disappearance. Ah well. Little adventures!
